Background Information

Dragonrain is run and managed, both frontend and backend programming and designing by Jay Lee. DR has been up for a little over four years, with a slowly but surely growing reputation among the anime-related graphics and design world. Of course, there is always more to build upon, and during this prospective future I would like to invite other webmasters and webmistresses who share a similar interest in graphic design-related works to join me for a year as affiliates.

Please take a moment to read through the following general requirements before filling out the application form.

General Requirements

These conditions should be followed throughout the entire affiliation period. DR reserves the right to remove your link if any of these conditions are improperly followed.

What makes an awesome affiliate?

1. Related to anime or graphics in some way.
2. PG-13 related material. DR follows the standard no-hentai, no-porn, no-hate policy, and I expect any affiliates to abide by the same moral standards.
3. The site must bear a history of at least one year - I would like to know that you are committed to what you do. If your site isn't here yet, please explain in your message.
   It should have a record of regular updates, and must not be on hiatus.
4. Rather than the usual "Quality over Quantity" theory, I'm gonna push my luck and emphasize both.
5. I will be looking for clean, crisp organization and overall higher standards.
6. The site should have a minimum of 10,000 hits per month. If your site isn't here yet, please explain in your message.
7. The site should not have too many affiliates...i.e. ten is a lot. (But if they're all your good online friends, I can't argue with that!)

These guidelines are subject to occasional exceptions.

As An Affiliate

1. DR will have a visible, legible text link back to your site on every page - no textless icons or textless images etc will be used to detract from the written appearance of your site's name. The link will be in the left side navigation of the layout, easy enough for any visitor to see. As an affiliate, I expect nothing less than the same fair treatment of your link back to DR.
2. Hiatus and downtime periods are sometimes a part of life, but they should not be chronic or lengthy. DR abides by the same policy.
