The ReviewOverall Impression
Though this story is based on the long-abused story of The Count of Monte Cristo, new characters, such as the Princess of Janina, play dramatic roles which highlight the impact of betrayal.
The Artwork
The style of artwork used in this series is rarely seen in Japanese animation - rather than coloring characters in plain colors, the artists of this anime filled them in with patterns. Hair would have the texture of smooth marble and coats would boast the intricate designs often found in rich, mahogany furniture.
The MusicThe music was definitely a lot of fun - unique mixes, and very modern (hey, I like modern!).There was also quite a bit of piano in there...though the pieces were nice to listen to, they weren't completely fantastic. Support the artist! Keeping these files on your computer for extended periods of time is illegal - if you find a piece that you like, please buy it! Breaking It Down
