Episode 15: Return to the Battlefield

The Synopsis

Chairman Dullindal has given Athrun a new gundam, and has asked that he help protect the ship Minerva for the time being. When Athrun makes his way to Orb, the last known location of the Minerva, he learns that Orb is now a part of the Earth Alliance when they "scramble" (a military term for basically harrying the enemy with more than one unit) on him. He retreats and decides to head to Carpenteria. Once there, the crew and pilots learn that Athrun is now a member of FAITH, and that they now fall under his command as well as the captain's. Athrun hands Captain Talia Gladys the new mission, and also another FAITH badge. Apparently, Dullindal had decided to award her with a new position as well. Now that there are two members of FAITH onboard the Minerva, Athrun is no longer required to obey Talia's orders, and she likewise. The new mission tells them that the Minerva is to assist with the relief force in Gibraltar, where the Earth Alliance has been trapping protestors in concentration camps in the Eurasian Forces Suez base.
Lunamaria informs Athrun that Orb has allied itself with the Earth Alliance, and Cagalli has married some "strange guy." At the word "married," Athrun is shocked into interrogating her further. He learns that she had been kidnapped by the Freedom and was last seen leaving in the Archangel. At this, Athrun seems to be somewhat reassured. The Minerva leaves the port at Carpenteria and heads for Gibralter.
Meanwhile, Stellar sits along the edge of the Girty Lue, staring at the ocean. Two crew members decide to molest her, but are stopped by Auel's sudden appearance. Auel warns the two crew members that Stellar may seem calm on the outside, but when she snaps, she can be really scary. As they high tail and run, Auel tells Stellar that Neo is calling for them. At the mention of Neo's name, Stellar is suddenly very happy.

The Review

Right and left, Athrun is being asked about what his true intentions are; and each time he has no answer. The news of Cagalli's "almost-marriage" seems to shock him a bit, but the knowledge that Kira is with her right now is a comfort.
Very dramatic.
On a smaller note: the new gundam style of entering the ship is very cool ^_^.
