DetailsOriginal Air Date: October 16, 2004 The SynopsisAfter the Impulse finishes its full transformation, Shinn attacks the three stolen units and isn't too successful. Athrun attempts to help out, and manages to get Shinn out of a rough spot in the middle of the battle. However, when their Djinn takes a particularly hard hit, Cagalli is thrown painfully and suffers a mild concussion. Athrun, immediately contrite, stops fighting and heads for shelter. Rei Za Burrel and Lunamaria Hawke manage to get into their units (which had been covered under rubble) and to provide some relief against the thieving Earth pilots. Meanwhile, Chairman Dullindal and the Minerva attempt to take to the skies. Outside of the colony's atmosphere, a new commander of the Earth Forces, whose character looks very much like the late Rau Le Cruset, Neo Roanoke (mask and all), waits patiently for their trio of thieves. Stellar, who had been in heated battle with Athrun and later with Shinn, refuses to leave despite the fact that she and her companions are late. She goes berzerk until Auel uses one of her "block" words - "die." Suddenly her obsession with the Impulse changes into an obsession to get out. She screams that she doesn't want to die, that she fears dying, and shoots blindly at the atmosphere of the PLANT colony. Lunamaria's Zaku falls apart, and Shinn changes to his Impulse's Force Pack just as the PLANT colony's wall breaks open into space. The pilot thieves escape, and the Impulse, despite being low on power, goes after it. Athrun and Cagalli manage to land on the Minerva, and are escorted by Lunamaria to the captain. In all the hubbub, Cagalli accidentally calls Athrun by his real name, catching Lunamaria's curious attention. The captain of the Minerva, Talia, refuses to risk losing the Impulse and goes after it. She is somewhat surprised when the Chairman appears to be on board, and even more surprised when the Orb Respresentative Cagalli is escorted to the bridge. The ReviewTransition episode - nothing really notable. This seems a lot like a repeat of the case of the stolen units in the prequel of this series, Gundam Seed. Screenshots
