The Synopsis

Stellar's return to the Girty Lue leads to a bit of conflict as she refuses to hand over the scarf that Shinn used to bandage her ankle with. Neo comforts her by telling her that what she cares about will never be taken from her, and she finally relents and goes to sleep in a pod. The doctors then resume to erase her memory of all the events that occurred with Shinn.
The crew of the Minerva gets to know the new addition to the pilot force a little better - Heine. His character is easy and laid-back, and he shows an understanding of what good leadership is. Athrun takes a leaf from this when he realizes that he shouldn't have allowed the aces to address him as "commander" which, according to Heine, creates a barrier. Once soldiers go out into the battlefield, rank no longer matters, and everyone is an equal.
After joining with the Eart Alliance, Orb is now obligated to turn over control of its armies. The Earth Alliance takes advantage of this in their attempt to gain control of the Black Sea. The Minerva, currenlty docked at the Black Sea Coastal City in Diocuia, plans ZAFT's defense along the Dardanelles channel. Captain Talia tells Athrun that the fight will involve Orb's forces this time. Out on the deck, Heine questions Athrun about how he feels about the upcoming fight. He relates that the grim truth for soldiers is that if they cannot keep their emotions at bay, they will die.
The fight begins between the Earth Alliance forces and Orb forces against the Minerva. Right before the Minerva shoots its positron cannon at the Orb carrier, Kira shoots at the cannon and destroys it with his Freedom gundam. Everyone's attention suddenly turns skyward.

The Review

I really like this Heine character, even if his name is rather corny. Even his gundam, the "Gouf" sounds silly o.o;. Still, he seems to know a lot about how to lead, and he becomes a bit of a mentor to Athrun. I guess there is no such thing as a perfect hero *sigh.*
