The Synopsis

Semi-recap episode. Dullindal wonders why Lacus Clyne and Kira were fated to meet, and remembers his conversations with Rau Le Cruset back during the early years of the war. Cruset spoke of when people finally realized that their wishes and dreams would never come true, of how no matter how much we want something, or how much we succeed, Time will take it all back again. Everything will eventually destroy itself.
Throughout all these remembrances, Rullindal is protrayed as playing chess with a ghostly figure of Cruset. There is also a ghostly figure of a little boy who looks suspiciously like a child version of Rey Ze Burrel.
The main body of the episode includes flashbacks of critical scenes in Gundam Seed - when Kira and Athrun fight to the finish, when Kira awakens under the care of Lacus Clyne, when Kira first met Lacus aboard the Archangel, and when Athrun realized that he was fighting for the wrong side.
Scenes of Dullindal and a younger version of Talia Gladys as a couple also flash by. Apparently they had broken up when PLANT and Earth began to fight each other.
At the very end of the episode, the King piece on the chessboard has fallen.

The Review

The recap part is boring for those who have already seen Gundam Seed the prequel. The interesting parts are the little hints about the past lives of Rey, Dullindal, and Talia.
